NALS of Southern Oregon Coast Scholarships
NALS of Southern Oregon Coast and NALS of Oregon scholarships are available annually. Those who will pursue education and training for a career as legal support staff are eligible to apply. Applications are available from high school and community college scholarship offices. Please visit NALS of Oregon Scholarship Fund Inc. for additional information and applications.
NALS of Southern Oregon Coast Scholarship Information:
Student scholarship eligibility is limited to persons enrolled or who will soon enroll in a course of study to prepare for a career as a legal secretary, paralegal, legal assistant, law office administrative staff, court personnel, or other positions traditionally associated with providing services and office support to attorneys.

A determination as to the number of scholarships and the amounts awarded will depend upon the applications received and are based upon eligibility, merit, financial need, and ability.

NALS of Southern Oregon Coast Education
NALS of Southern Oregon Coast holds educational meetings the third Tuesday of each month except for June, July and August (Annual BBQ) and December (Annual Christmas party). The meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. in the Coos Bay-North Bend area. The meeting format is an optional no-host dinner held in a private meeting room followed by a speaker on a law-related topic. The meetings are open to non-members.
